Ulf Forsberg, Violine
Born in the north of Sweden, Ulf Forsberg studied the violin at Stockholm’s Music Academy with the Bulgarian violinist Emil Kamiralov.
In addition to his performances with the COE, which he joined in 1991, he is also a member of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, which he led in the 1990’s under the direction of conductor Daniel Harding. He has toured all around the world with the orchestra and prestigious artists including Esa-Pekka Salonen and Anne-Sofie von Otter.
Ulf Forsberg also enjoys performing in chamber ensembles and formerly was the leader of the Stockholm Chamber Orchestra. He has taken part in various chamber music projects, including recordings, with Anne-Sofie von Otter.
Ulf has a passion for films and travelling abroad, in particular to Brazil.
